Gary F. Davis, CLI
Gary Davis serves as a Special Advisor/Trainer for Africa Polygraph Network.
Mr. Davis is an internationally known and respected expert in the field of Polygraph. He is currently the Director of two polygraph academies: The Academy of Polygraph Science in Fort Myers, Florida and the Marston Polygraph Academy in San Bernardino, California. He is a former Vice President and Board Member of the American Polygraph Association, as well as a former President of the National Polygraph Association in the United States. He is a Certified Forensic and Fraud Examiner and Polygraph Instructor at various universities, legal seminars, law enforcement seminars, intelligence trainings, and Polygraph seminars throughout the United States and abroad.
He served for 15 years as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office in Wichita, Kansas, U.S.A. While serving in the Sheriff’s Office, attained the rank of Detective Lieutenant and supervised numerous criminal investigations. Subsequently, he became a Special Agent at the Kansas Bureau of Investigation where he served as a Polygraph Examiner in the Organized Crime Unit and Investigative Division.
He has more than 30 years’ experience as a Clinical and Forensic Polygraph Examiner. He is qualified as an Expert in Polygraph in the state courts of Kansas and Missouri, and in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri. Mr. Davis has conducted thousands of polygraph tests and post-conviction offender examinations. He serves as a mentor to numerous polygraph examiners and is a recognized credibility assessment expert and provides quality control services to polygraph examiners around the world.
Mr. Davis provides training, mentorship, guidance, advise, and quality control checks to APN examiners. This ensures that examiners use validated techniques and comply with standards set by the American Polygraph Association. He reviews polygraph charts to ensure that the results are credible and reliable and consistent with the data collected. Mr. Davis is committed to contributing to development of the polygraph profession in Africa, because he believes that the profession can contribute greatly to investor confidence and overall development of the continent.
Mr. Davis holds a Bachelors’ Degree in the Administration of Justice from Wichita State University, Kansas. He is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute, the University of Louisville, and the University of Houston Polygraph Program.
